Jane Scher is well-known in the field both because of the professional positions she has held and continues to hold, and because of her memberships in various prestigious organizations. In addition to being a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses (ASPSN) in which she has been active for over 25 years, she has worked at Manhattan eye, Ear & Throat Hospital (MEETH), probably the most well-known plastic surgery hospital in the country. Not only has she worked alongside some of the most famous aesthetic doctors in the world, she has helped many of them to build their practices. This she accomplished through her own consulting firm, working with renowned surgeons both in hospitals and in their private offices.
Jane Scher eagerness to learn state-of-the-art aesthetic techniques is matched by her desire to disseminate what she learns through teaching other professionals. At MEETH, she has lectured operation room nurses on proper plastic surgery techniques regarding patient safety, and at Metropolitan Vein Center has instructed physician assistants (PAs) on injection techniques. She has also trained new staff members on injectables.
